Dough Nation 04:40
Let's get together and build a Dough Nation Two family cars in each garage A tree with a Goodyear tire swing on the lawn Apple pie and ten days vacation Trips to Vail, the hot tub winter lodge Lots of friends and fifty shares in Amazon But if you're black or brown, please down stand your ground They've got a badge and gun to shoot you down And if our policies don't protect minorities Then what is freedom? Can you tell me please? Let's get together and build a Dough Nation Take what we want and overlook Any immigrant this country was founded on Foreign cars and foreign oil fields 2,000 troops in Syria Protect the border, now that's an order, don't disregard Cause it's America You love it or you leave it be There's no denying it It's big and bold and flying free But if you're black or brown, please down stand your ground They've got a badge and gun to shoot you down And if our policies don't protect minorities Then what is freedom? Can you tell me please? Let's get together and build a Dough Nation Use what we want and throw it out Put another steak up on the barbecue Wave the flag and stand for the anthem Don't dare protest on bended knee The executives are watching that's what they do Cause money makes the world go 'round

When you threaten their security When you're harboring an enemy They don't like that Don't like that When you challenge their supremacy Then you argue for some clemency They don't like that Don't like that It's never over it's just more of the same The evil-doers playing silly war games The talking heads will do what they do to frame A story they can never truly contain We don't like that The simple truths they can never explain They hide behind a wall of darkness and shame We don't like that We don't like that We all know the song, so sing the refrain From California to the beaches of Maine We don't like that We don't like that A friend in need True indeed Pull out the weeds and replant the seed It's not a dream It's not a threat These are the words to never forget It's never over it's just more of the same The evil-doers playing silly war games The talking heads will do what they do to frame A story they can never truly contain We don't like that The simple truths they can never explain They hide behind a wall of darkness and shame We don't like that We don't like that We all know the song, so sing the refrain From California to the beaches of Maine We don't like that We don't like that

Super Bowl 03:25
Don't open your eyes Picture me with a big fat smile I dream of a purple mountains majesty Oh home on the range Where the gas is a buck-o-five Where seldom is heard one word of sanity As the eagle flies - aggrandize what you chastise Action, distraction - then we're hypnotized In your guise, you surmise - or you improvise Factions, abstractions - and the numbers rise At least we've the super bowl and rock n roll And Hollywood - they're pretty good Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck Freedom fries and pickup trucks I stand here amazed By the creed that has reviled These colors don't run, my land of ecstasy Oh dear Uncle Sam, went out for smokes and its been a while No guard and the freaks tore down the embassy As the eagle files - here come the guns and knives Violence, defiance - yeah we shook the hive In your eyes we survive when we take up sides Conspiring and firing - running for our lives But at least we've the super bowl and rock n roll And Hollywood, they're pretty good. Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck Freedom fries and pickup trucks Diet coke and Pizza Hut alright

All Is Fair 03:36
It's not ok to fall asleep and have to leave the light on You're not man enough to jump the fence and tame the lion No you can't erase the memory But you can complete the remedy It's not lady-like to walk around and act defiant They build a wall around you, make you feel like a pariah No you can't erase the memory But you can complete the remedy No one has a perfect pedigree We all came coincidentally All is fair in love at least tonight

Coming to a town near you Is a story that is mostly true Except for all the lies therein Plenty of noise and lots of spin It's totally obvious What they really think of us Marinating the audience nice and slow Watch more TV Watch more TV Good for you Good For me Selling our conspiracy Coming to a town near you Is a fabrication right on Q Presented with a wily grin If everyone loses, they still win It's totally obvious And utterly vomitus Over half of the populace locked in tow Watch more TV Watch more TV Good for YOU Good For ME Selling our conspiracy

Turn out the lights and go outside Black out the shades and hide me as I cry Commie go home if you don't like it I got the gas and match now watch me strike it Take it to the dimmest Take it to the dimmest this time Throw my keys in the nearest lake I've done all the miles that I'm ever gonna make Hell, give me a combo Super-size-it Hands off my rifle baby don't you even try it Take it to the dimmest Take it to the dimmest this time Take it to the dimmest There is no limit, so why don't you visit? Over one billion served and we've got the nerve to repeat it

A deeper sigh The line of offensive betrayal I can't stand to see what's going on It never was not as bad as the time you remember Cracked in two, a fragile broken arm Can't stop now with it holy cow it's a righteous indignation We're not bad but we get so mad it's a righteous indignation Hands are bleeding, lay down the ground Eyes are weeping, taken by the sound A burning field A scent of a dying society On the way to hating everything No centerpiece No matter to rally around Pop goes the needle underneath the skin Can't stop now with it holy cow it's a righteous indignation We're not bad but we get so mad it's a righteous indignation Hands are bleeding, lay down the ground Eyes are weeping, taken by the sound Don't let 'em take your name in vain 'Cause they're up in flames and there's no smoke alarm Ringing in your ears, echo their peers Rotten ad campaign and you just hum along

about

All City Affairs (aka Peter Andreadis) returns with a new album of bedroom synth indie pop called "Dough Nation." These songs take on what it feels like to be an American in the midst of a pandemic, an onslaught of clickbait, an attack on the Capital, an unrelenting cycle of gun violence...and that's just the fun part!

Andreadis brings characters and scenes to life, always with tongue planted firmly in the cheek. The lyrics are filled with satire and self-immolation. The tunes are awash in bright colors and bounce. And ultimately, what you walk away with is, something more than just your average singer-songwriter project.

"Very well-crafted pop songs with the singer bringing someone like XTC's Andy Partridge, Neil Finn or Ray Davies to mind." - Allmusic.com

"The twin pillars of All City Affairs’ music are dance-floor beats and Andreadis’s clear, straightforward tenor, which enunciates with choirboy precision and avoids irony and weariness at all costs" - Popmatters.com

"The music of All City Affairs sounds like those cheesy pre-set songs that were stored on that cheap Yamaha keyboard you had when you were a kid." - Punknews.org
