I wrote this song somewhere between 12 and 13 years ago. I performed it solo once at Schubas as an encore, and I remember a good friend of mine telling me that it was the best song of the night. I worked on this recording for a long, long time and it went through different versions. I let it sit on my hard drive for at least 5 years. But I recently revisited it and was surprised how much I liked it. Maybe I got so caught up in "working" on it that I hadn't realized at the time that it was done.
